defective charge 2?

i have a charge 2 i bought off ebay. when I plug it in to charge, battery looks like full . i can't get it to show anything if i unplug. I was able to reset it . I got the # on the screen to show and it did sync. I cleaned the contacts. I can press in button and get the version to show. Is it possible that it isn't charged? I thought the battery showing all the way meant is charged.

Hi @pamarrington  it's entirely possible that you purchased a defective Charge 2. Are you able to sync and the device recognizes your steps? You might want to check with eBay and the seller about a return. Unfortunately there are quite a few members who reported buying from eBay only to discover that they have no warranty. Your app ought to tell you if it's charged, does it?

shows a battery with lines all the way up. the dude tried to tell me worked when sold. I replied i have owned this model before and know how to use it. weird thing is it lets you reset. the code will come up on the screen but nothing else works.

I'd go straight to eBay since the seller isn't being forthright. Since you've owned one before, you know the proper working of the Charge 2. When I had a problem with a seller on eBay, I had to go to them directly when the seller refused a refund. It worked out in my case. Hope things work out for you. Problem with used items is you have no idea how long the device was kept with a dead battery or how it was stored.

i did immediately. it didn't help they shipped in manilla envelope with no packing.

Guess I'm used to sellers actually protecting the items they send. Hope eBay can help you with this.

i have to wait a month to bring in the resolution team. this is a new seller. i should have known better. i had got a good aspire refurb and lost it. shows on my phone as still partly charged. i guess someone enjoying it. i ended up buying a brand new aspire with a protection plan at a really good cost off web.
