been round and round with these people three replacements none will setup...
They have old firmware number 22.53.04
My old one that still works ...except the heart rate ...plastic falling out of the back..
sets up just fine ...Firmware 22.55.2....
This has been a nightmare..
still under warranty...
The replacements are no good...
30 days going now....
I ask for 1/2 off on a charge 3 ...Won't do it ..said they give me half off on any other one...
I have two new replacements told them I would until they get it fixed....
Still waiting.....
Good to see I'm not alone...

@ricnvic Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that you can't setup your replacement trackers. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Same thing with a lot of people. Fitbit support is aware of the problem and they are trying to fix it, but not giving any dates on when it will be resolved. It's a waiting game for many of us. I hate to think I spent a lot of money for the extended warranty for nothing.

Is there any way to update the firmware version from the computer with the charge cord .?
Or is there a special cord to buy and firmware file from support..
Why would they send these things out with old firmware on them...
Is there a way to go back to the old phone app that worked with the old firmware and then update all over again to get these new ones working with the old firmware on them..?
I NEED SOME REAL SUPPORT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same here, coming up to a month now with stock response that they know the problem and are looking for a solution!
I would have also taken the 50% off but got same response that I could use it against anything else, but not the Charge 3
