non-stop vibrating

I woke up this morning at 3am to my device vibrating non-stop.  I put it on the charger and that stopped it till I got back upstairs and it started again, till it died.  Anybody else?

Hello @mandileigh84 thanks for bringing this to my attention, welcome to the Community Forums. My apologies for the delay in responding your post.

Seems odd that your Charge 2 is vibrating in such way, this is certainly not a common situation nor the way this specific model was designed to perform. To better assist you, can you please let me know if after charging back your device it became responsive again or it's not charging anymore? If this is the case, please check our help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? and let me know how it goes. This specific article includes a restart process that should resolve the vibrating situation.

Keep me posted, I'll be here.

It re-charged.  And periodically vibrates for about a minute maybe 4 times a day now but keeps its charge.  I have re-started it and the problem persists

The service team helped me with a screen issue.  I'm in the process of picking a new fitbit.  However, after I talked to them about my blank screen, it started the vibrating issue.  It is also now not syncing to my phone and has a full battery.  I'm planning on going with a tracker other than the charge.  I'm just not sure which just yet

Funny, mine did the same at around 3am this night. Amsterdam time. I could not do anything. Later al was normal again. I notice now that there is a 2GB data use on my phone by Android playstore, This is very high because I never reached 2GB a month and now with only one app. Al other apps have normal data use, even the fitbit app.

I can only think of a hack.  Especially because I read that the charge 3 can be used for payment. I think somebody is using playstore to acces data. The vibrating is just triggered as sideaffect. Can others check their data use?

Forgot to mention, I have a charge2 and playstore used 1.43GB which together with all the other apps make 2GB. And that is the limit that is set on my phone.

@Another_user Thank you for bringing this to my attention and sharing your experience with us. Let me share with you that our Fitbit Pay feature is not available in your Charge 2, also, I'm not quite sure if account hacking can be related with a vibration. That said, to better understand this situation, can you please let me know if you think that your account was compromised by any reason? Did you recently experienced any difficulty with your account? Take in consideration that a lot of factors can consume data, such as a firmware update, Fitbit app update, etc. I'll be looking to your reply.

See you around

I'm having the same issue.. The Charge 2 (which display already doesn't work for years) is now vibrating, more like pulsing. While it charges it seems to stop. When I take off from the charger it starts again. It's also having difficulty syncing.. it syncs but then goes back to a lower amount of steps.
