Hello

New to fit bit world (gifted a charge2), but before I stick it in the bin, can anyone help with a couple of annoying queries...

1. I have turned OFF the 'screen on' wrist rotation setting, but the screen comes on at night and my other half is woken up. Does not go down well.

2. I have turned off notifications/messages, but I now have 2 spam messages from someone (Myrtle M) wanting to 'be my friend' with a link including eff you see kay in it, presumably a scam or link to porn site.

As you can tell from the above its going in the bin shortly as another piece of useless tech junk.

Thanks in advance, if you can convince me to keep it!

Use the block and report for the notification that you got through your Fitbit account.

For the light at night, there are two more ways it can turn on. Yours is not turning on with the wrist twist.

Some users use a sports band over the Charge 2 or turn the brightness down to minimum.

Thanks for the reply.

There's no block and report option, but I declined there request to friend, and it seems to have gone away.

I have turned literally everything off, unticked everything, and synced, but still get the clock lighting up when I rotate my wrist. Why on earth can''t they just design something that works rather having to find a workaround?

Can't find a way of turning the brightness down.

Thanks for the message but I give up.

You will find the block at the bottom of the message. Once the block has been tapped, the report will pop up.

The block will block the user from contacting you.
