problems configuring charge 3 face

I replace my charge 2 fitbit with a charge 3, kept all of the settings, however rather than being able to see how many steps I take, it shows distance. I have searched  my dashboard on line and can not find where various face options are given as in the past. Help!

There are several clock faces available to choose from which show different information.  I don't remember which is the default it comes with.

See How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device? 

Also note, on at least one of them, tapping the clock face makes the display cycle through different stats.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
