On the fit bit there is a duck icon and the fit bit vibrates until i press the button.  The fit vibrates around 8 minutes after the alarm goes off. What is this duck and where in the app do i turm that off?

It's great to see you around @Sethm1. Thanks for the details mentioned.

In this case, I would like you to provide me with a picture of what you're seeing in your tracker.  Please let me know which Fitbit are you using? Does it show anything else than the duck icon?

Keep me posted.

After my last posting, I opened the phones app and saw that fitbit had a update. After an hour of trying to connect via bluetooth (ugggg) the server connected and the update completed.  That symbol has  not shown up since.

I know you don't want it, but it looks so cute to me. Can't wait to find out what it is meant to be/do. Is that a charge 3.? If it is it's the only thing I have seen that's made me want one. I'm normally content with my charge 2.

Watching this space in anticipation.

Its the Inspire. And the bird thing is annoying. Its especially annoying because 1 no manual comes with the device and 2 going thru the App (android) is not helping.  I only use it has an alarm so it should not be giving me any other alarm/warnings. And only have 1 alarm set and i have been told there is no snooze option/feature.  I am sure there is third reason, just cant think of what it is. And while im on a rant, I wish the side button a bit more deep or something.  When ur sleeping takes a bit to find it and push the button.

Hi again @Sethm1, I'm taking a stab in the dark here but if the bird is showing up after your alarm have you got a sleep goal set that you've met and the bird is celebrating? I couldn't make out what is below the bird in your picture, is it numbers?

Yes below the symbol is just the current time (i think this morning it was 6:54). After much digging, its simply the symbol for the silent alarm. Who would ever think that was it? Except maybe a 5 yr old. Suriously who comes up the symbols?

Apparently i had a “repeating” option turned on. I thought that setting meant that it repeated monday thru friday - vs just a one time alarm. This was all so exhausting.  I feel this device is for the under 15 crowd.  So I am guessing I am NOT turning off the alarm at 6:36 am (my programmed alarm time).  Which goes back to my complaint about the design of the button.

Hope Fitbit is seeing this post and to go back to the proverbial drawing board!

All I want is a wrist device with a vibrating alarm made for adults.  If you know of a device then PLEASE share.

Thanks for continue participating in the forums @Sethm1 and @Lilbiddy. The duck icon you're getting is referring to the silent alarm when it goes off. Also, you will see a duck in the display when you set the timer, this time events with the stopwatch or set a countdown timer with the Timers app.

You can learn more about it by checking this Product Manual

I have the silent alarm set for 6:36 am - weekdays.  I press the button to stop the vibrating. So why then does the Inspire duck vibrate AGAIN about 14 minutes later ?!?

Thanks for getting back @Sethm1. To dismiss the alarm, press the button. To snooze the alarm for 9 minutes, swipe down. Snooze the alarm as many times as you want. Inspire automatically goes into snooze mode if you ignore the alarm for more than 1 minute.

I have my alarm set to go off at noon each day. When it goes off there is vibration with a duck quacking and a lightning bolt below the duck. I press it off and it continues 2or3 more times after that. Very annoying and I would like to know what to do about it. Thanks

@Ksauter01 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

When your tracker received the alarm and you would like to dismiss it, press the button twice. If you tap the ZZZ icon or press the button, you snooze the alarm for 9 minutes. Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Mine started doing the same thing about three days ago and exactly the same time every morning at 8:47. It vibrates three or four times and then it stops

It is an alarm. If you read back through this thread it should help you.

I was looking on the app for an alarm and couldn’t find what I didn’t realize it was on the Fitbit itself. I must’ve inadvertently set the alarm. I have since turned it off thank you very much.
