Brand new Inspire HR - Calls but no text notifications

Just received a brand new inspire HR today to replace my alta HR.  I'm able to receive call notifications but not texts.  Tried rebooting phone, rebooting watch, checking bluetooth on phone, checking notifications settings on phone.  Uninstalled fitbit app and reinstalled.  nothing is working.  Any ideas?

I'm not getting any notifications. They were working but suddenly stopped. Rebooted phone and device. Still have the same problem.

There are like 101 phone settings to get this to work.  I called support for my Iphone 8 and was missing notifications->Messages->show previews = Always (Default).  Mine was set to none.  Good luck!!
