Any MRI Technologist out there use any of the newer Fitbit devices?

I have used the Alta Hr for 4 yrs and had NO problems inside as a  practice patient or around the magnetic fields up to 7T.

However I am looking for a Fitbit that can better track my arrhythmias instead of wearing a heart monitor for my cardiologist be inspired to is what I'm inquiring about any information on any of the devices would be helpful.

I know that all of the Apple devices will break entirely if worn into these magnets, or in two zone four.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am an MRI technologist working in and around magnetic fields up to 3T soon to be around 7T.

I have worn my Alta HR for over four years and it still works like brand new. All functions are still fully operational like notifications vibrations etc.

I am looking for a newer model that can better track heart arrhythmias.

Are there any suggestions as to which model I can wear in and around magnetic field strengths up to 3T?

Wearing a monitor for my cardiologist is difficult these days.

Thank you for your help!!

Hi @Gretchie50 these devices, no matter how advanced, aren't to replace a medical device. If your cardiologist has you wearing a heart monitor, you should discuss this with them.

I'm in the health care field AND I have heart issues.....I know how and
when to follow a doctor's orders.
I was looking for a device that would track and keep a record.
To assist my MD see what, how long, and how often arrhythmias would occur.

Thanks for attempting to help,

Hi just checking if you have found an answer? I’ve had my charge 2 for years in the 3T and no issues. Looking at getting the charge 5 maybe? Curious what you did!
