Got my new spire hr today but I can’t seem to get it to work!!

i have tried to put it into my huashi pro 20 and iPad but it will not load an update that it needs to proceed. Can it be used with out an app?? I can’t get the Fitbit screen off the setup screen

@Mcguffie, welcome! It's good that the community is growing! 

Let me help you setting up your Inspire HR. iPads are usually really friendly with Fitbit devices so I suggest lets try with it the setup again. Lets start by refreshing the link between them by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  • Also, if you are using an Android device (the Huawei Pro 20 you mentioned), check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.
