Can't sync... please help a dumbo

Can you help.  Being a very senior member in age, and a bit of a computer dumbo, I try to keep up but not always successfully.😆

 

I have a new Inspire HR and all went well until I tried to sync and look at dashboard.   The blue line goes across a bit then stops and it just keeps saying it's synching.  I have tried everything google said but obviously not correctly!!!

Hi @rosemaryv  you're not a dumbo. You were wise enough to find and post on the forum!

 

How are you trying to sync? Computer or smartphone. Android, iOS or Windows? The more we know the better. It's always good to do a restart of your device. It's similar to turning off and on your computer or smartphone, even a tv. Nothing is lost, but it seems to make things fall into place when you restart it. Be sure you have the latest Fitbit app, too. Android and iOS both received new versions this week.

 

While some feel Google is their friend, I prefer to go to the source, as you just have. There is an area for the Inspire HR user manual and related help articles, some include videos. click to go there

 

Let us know how things go for you after checking on the updates and restarting.
