Can the Fitbit app pull HR data after exercise?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi everyone,

Today, I went for my daily walk and started to log my walk from my inspire HR. However, it could not connect to my phone's GPS (not sure why, but that's not the problem here). After few attempts I decided to log my walk using the fitbit app (iOS).

After my walk, I looked at my data and although the route, steps, etc. as been recorded by the app, it doesn't seem to be pulling the HR data from the inspire HR.

As the actual HR data is there in the heart rate menu, knowing what time the exercise started, is there a way to pull the HR data and "paste" it in the exercise?

Also, is it possible to adjust the weight during/after an exercise to add the weight of a rucksack or training weight, or do I need to adjust it my weight before hand?

Thanks,

M

Hello @Moi79 and welcome to the Help forums.  Sorry that no one has tried to help you until now.  When you use the app for GPS tracking, you are using a feature called MobileRun.  MobileRun used to include the heart rate data.  It disappeared about a year ago.  It isn't clear whether this was intentional by Fitbit or a bug.  Sorry, even though your hear rate data is there, you can't pull and paste it into the exercise details.

As far as the weight of your rucksack or training weight, you don't need to adjust your weight.  The calorie burn is heart rate based.  Your heart rate will increase to carry the extra load and this will be reflected in your calorie burn.
