Changing exercise modes

Had this now since Xmas, still cannot work out how you change the exercise mode from the 7 pre installed to picking ones from the list of 20.   Can anyone help?  Also the step count us so innacurate, I wake up having done about 80 steps???  Also I seem to take regular swims, although I've not been near a pool.  Very frustrated and wishing I had not bought the inspire HR ......  sorry for moaning ...... greatful for any help cheers ....

I'll try answering the first one.

See Can I reorder the exercise shortcuts on my Fitbit device?

As an aside, I think it is better to stick to one issue per post.  Otherwise, someone might have one answer but avoid posting for not wanting to deal with all the issues - just my take.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you for replying.  I have already found that, but my problem is the app on my phone doesn't look like that when I go to my account.  I've tried reinstalling the app, thinking I've got an old version but it's still the same and I cannot get the screen you show, so can't go any further forward.  It's very frustrating and I've spent a lot of time trying to figure it out.  But I may just be being stupid I don't know..... thanks for trying to help though:)

You should have an entry called exercise shortcuts under the Inspire HR settings.

  • Fitbit app
    1. Tap the Today tab

       > your profile picture > your device image.
    2. Tap Exercise Shortcuts and make your changes:
      • Tap + Exercise Shortcut to add an exercise.
      • To remove an exercise, swipe left on a shortcut and tap Delete (on Windows 10, tap the trash can icon).
      • To reorder the exercises, tap Edit. Press and hold a shortcut, and drag it up or down to change its position.
    3. Sync your device.

Do you see the 'Today' tab?

    Your profile pic?

    Your device image?
