I see the Inspire HR comes in three colours and the website shows the lilac with a lilac display. If you later choose a different band, can you change the colour of the display?

@Pintsizedmoo My Lilac Inspire HR has a lilac-tinted screen. You will not be able to change the color of the display, as the hardware itself is actually lilac and it's not a software switch. You'll be able to change the bands, but if you choose the Lilac Inspire HR, it will always have a lilac-tint.

Great Suggestion @Pintsizedmoo , screen is traditional black and dialog bright white from the OLED.
Thanks for the interest, wearing versatility is the "win" here with an available clip.

Is the colour of the tracker body itself purple tinted in the version with the lilac strap? If looks in the photos like the lower part of the pebble has a lilac/purple tinge. It's much more noticeable in the photos of the non-HR version with the reddish strap, where the sides of the pebble look to be red.

@Victoria7500 Yes, the tracker itself is a very dark purple. You can't tell from far away. In direct light, you can see it's a very, very dark purple.

Thanks Heather - thought it was an optical illusion in the photos, until I saw the non-HR version! Good to have it confirmed.

I misunderstood the first reply and thought they were all white so ordered lilac 🙄. Your reply made it very clear @Heather-S .. I have ordered a black and will return the lilac. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

@Heather-S Did you mean that the OLED screen is really lila color? Or maybe the OLED screen is still while light color (behind the plastic transparent cover), but the plastic transparent cover is lila-tinted colored, so filtering the color that you perceived as emited form the screen? Can you see if the plastic trasnaprent cover is really 'transparent' or "lila-tinted color"?

@Torakaru The plastic cover is lilac. So I'm fairly sure the light behind it is white, but with the plastic being lilac, the display numbers come through a faint lilac tint.
I'm not 100% sure if how I'm interpreting it is correct, but the light being displayed on the lilac Inspire HR is lilac-tinted nonetheless. So if you don't want to have lilac-tinting, you will want to get the black or white version.

@Heather-S Thank a lot by your prompt and detailed feedback!
That is what I also suppose to be the case (as it is the more cost effective way to implement such kind of "pseudo-colored" screen keeping costs down).
But looking at this press picture made me to hesitate, as it seems there are 'different depths of tones?' in the lila colors (look at the different numbers from top to bottom, even the Heart icon), and not sure how look like the other patterns of the interface.
Can you check yours and let us know? Is just "a visual effect" of a white OLED display with a lila-tinting screen cover on top of it?

I would also be interested to know if the lilac coloured display makes the screen appear any dimmer than previous models - it seems like there might be less contrast than with the standard white-on-black display?

@Heather-S On top my previous question, may you also take a look to @Victoria7500 question, please?
Thanks a lot @Heather-S !

@Torakaru That watch face in the press photo isn't even an option in my clock face options for my Inspire HR. There are no depths or tone differences that I've noticed. I love that watch face, though. Wish it was available and not just for press photos.

@Victoria7500 It is high contrast and very bright. There are no options to adjust the brightness, however. When I compare the Inspire HR to my Charge 3, my Inspire HR is definitely brighter.

@Heather-S I’m going for the normal white option now because I may want to change the strap later and so the lilac tint makes colour options a little more restrictive. It is pretty though. And unusual.

@Heather-S I see, that is a pity (And pretty dissapointing also
) In any case, thanks by sharing with us your real device usage feedback!

I just got a lilac Inspire HR and want to use that clock face but I'm not sure which one it is. Do you happen to know the name of it?

It's called Valerie.
Looking through here it looks like there was originally an issue with that style of clock face using too much battery but that's been fixed. I ordered my lilac Inspire HR today and it should arrive tomorrow, I'm ready to get going.
