?It is the first day with my new Fitbit; all went well - I recorded 15000 steps or so and several tasks , then suddenly the thing went blank and said that I needed to download the app. It was of course already downloaded and my iPhone confirms that. I had to resync and all my data are missing. I am at my wit's end and am extremely disappointed with my experience so far. How can I get the data back? I particularly need to monitor my heart rate. Hope that someone can help. I have looked at suggested solutions online but the description of the app there doesn't match my experience at all.

One possibility: check it on fitbit.com dashboard. That usually directly reflects the fitbit database when there might be display problem with phone. Any data that did sync before your problem should still be there.
