I just got the Inspire HR. How do I turn off email notifications? I don't mind call and text notification but I don't want notifications on every email.

Hi @prlegl Yep I am with you on that! Email notifications drive me crazy. Fortunately it is easy to turn off. In your app, select the Account icon at the top of the page and then select Inspire HR. Scroll down to notifications and select, then select email notifications and switch it to OFF. Please come back if you co tinue to have problems.

This turns off Fitbit notifications that are emailed to you. What I believe OP is looking for (and so am I) is the ability to turn off push notifications from the phone each time they receive an email, but keep push notifications for texts and calls received by the phone.
How do we choose which types of notifications (calls, text, email, Facebook, Messenger, etc) are pushed to Fitbit from the phone? I want the email notifications to continue on my phone, but I don't want them on my wrist. So turning off email notifications on my phone itself is not what I want. I just want to stop the wrist vibrations with every email, but keep the vibrations for text & calls.

Hi @montannabelle Yes, that is what I was suggesting. In the Fitbit app on your phone (NOT the phones settings app) go to your account (account icon/avatar in the top left corner of the home page) and select your tracker from the devices list (Inspire or Inspire HR). On the page that comes up scroll cown to notifications and select it and then you can select which notifications you receive on your wrist. You can receive text and call notifications but turn off email - just on the tracker. This will NOT turn it off on your phone, just stop the fitbit app from sending the notifacions to your tracker. In the screen shot I have attached (which is for my Versa 2 - it will be the same for the Inspire) you can see what comes up when I select notifications as I described above. You can set your preference for each notification heading for the tracker. Just select it off the list and it will allow you to set your preference.

Unfortunately, if you use Outlook for both your calendar items and your emails, it won't know the difference. You can't separate them. I had calendar items turned on and Emails turned off. I still got email notifications. When I viewed the list under "App Notifications" to see if Outlook was there, it was greyed out saying "Default Calendar App", so I couldn't turn it off. This is on my Inspire HR.
