Inspire 3 user here. Noticed this when I forgot to turn off exercise mode. When I turn on the exercise mode from the watch, the heartrate monitor will add 20 to upwards of 90 BPM to the my heartrate over time. Exercising without the exercise mode on will not get to the levels that exercise mode does. Watch in the same position, similar activities, resetting doesn't change it - it is only exercise mode. This is testable and repeatable. Doesn't matter which exercise is set, walking, jogging, weights, yoga, etc.
So my question is, does Fitbit intentionally change it's heartrate monitoring when in exercise mode? If not, what in the software world is going on?
