I have the Inspire HR which I started using only about a month ago. I have two important issues with it, right now:
1. For a good couple of weeks, my device would automatically sense my morning workouts at the gym, and provide me with the no. of calories burnt. Most times it didn’t get the duration right, but I could easily edit the exercise and correct that. However, now it doesn’t seem to be recognizing my exercises at all, even though it detects my calorie burn. So now I have to Log my exercises manually. The problem with Logging is that, the device gives me an estimate calorie burn for the exercise category I choose (eg. CrossFit) and not how much I have actually burnt on that day, even though it has all the details of my actual calorie burn. I can see it in the graphs.
2. I ride a scooter to work everyday, which the device picks up as me riding a cycle/outdoor bike. I can easily delete these exercises from the app, but the problem is that it also counts a high no. of calories that mimicks an actual workout, which I can’t delete. This messes with my total no. of calories burnt for the day, and I hence, can’t keep track of my calorie deficit that I need to lose weight.
Essentially, from the above two points you’ll see that all I want is for my Fitbit to track the exercise that I’m actually doing. Which is one of the main purposes of this device.
Please help with any suggestions to rectify.

I have the same problem. I have just switched from the Alta HR to the Inspire HR and the data being reported is dramatically different from the Alta. Today I snow skied for 5 hours. The app is showing 16,947 steps but only 775 calories and ZERO minutes of exercise. I don't know where to start to fix this.
