FitBit Inspire vs Inspire HR

Hi there! I was just wondering if anyone could shed some insight on the waist clip for these devices. Do both the regular Inspire and the Inspire HR fit into the clip? Thanks in advance!

Hi @DogMamaOf2  the clip is only for the Inspire. The Inspire HR will not fit in the clip. Since the Inspire HR also tracks heart rate, there is no need for it to be in a clip. The Inspire doesn't track heart rate.

Thanks @Odyssey13 ! I'm aware that the clip won't allow for HR to be tracked, but was actually asking for my Mom. She has the FitBit One (we both do), and we're looking to replace them. This is a good option. Mom was looking at the Inspire HR, being aware that it won't track HR in the clip, but wanting the option to do so with the wristband at times. It's good to know though, that it doesn't even fit into the clip! It's a pity, really, but what can ya do.

You're a good daughter @DogMamaOf2 . There are people whose jobs don't allow for wrist based trackers during work hours, so they are using a lighter pouch, which comes with a clip, to hold the tracker portion of the Fitbit. You could go with any of the Fitbit styles if you did that. I've seen the pouches on Amazon for under $12. Might work for the Inspire HR, too and give your mom more options.

Oh, that's a good idea @Odyssey13 . I was just on Amazon, checking out clips because the FitBit clips are a little pricey. Thanks for the tip, and yeah, if we got clipable pouches, we could go with any FitBit device.

@DogMamaOf2   I just want to add a little detail.  The font size for some of the screen details on the Inspire/Inspire HR is smaller than the One.  Many users who need reading glasses complain that they are just too hard to read.  You can't change the font.

I think your Mom should see the device in action before getting a device she is unhappy with.

I'm new to all of this but the clip does fit with my HR model and believe it or not it does pick up and record my heartbeat and on top of that it is attached to my thick leather belt! I thought what the hell it will record my steps and that's ok but when I put it on the first day it was picking up my heartbeat. I hope this helps clear up any confusion about the clip. Of course this is my experience with it and I cannot speak to the issues others have had. By the way I got it on qvc for 69 bucks. Good luck.
