FitBit Step Tracker

I love my FitBit!!    My problem is the fact that for my job, I push a cart around for most of the day. I usually use both hands to push the cart, but I have noticed, that when I'm pushing the cart, my steps aren't being counted, because technically, my hand isn't moving. I try to push one-handed, but it's awkward. Is there anything that can be done to accurately count my steps?

Also, on another note, I've noticed that my skin on my wrist is getting rubbed off from the FitBit. I don't have it on to tight, as a matter of fact, it's really loose.

You can put your tracker in a pocket or somehow clipped to clothing and probably get better step count, but lose heart rate data for that time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
