Fitbit Inspire HR never, ever syncs properly

Tried all the tips and tricks I've found online but no cigar. Sick of not getting my data properly in the app. This is BS. It never syncs all the data and never syncs past says. It reads: gathering your data but nothing ever happens and if by a miracle it does, it doesn't gather the data properly. Yesterday, I did over 7000 steps but the app synced 4 steps. That's right, four. I'm so over this.

Sorry to hear about this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You don't specify which troubleshoots you have tried and also, this could be an app issue. I would suggest you start by logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. After this you could try the following steps if you haven't done so already:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
