Fitbit Inspire HR won't sync

My Inspire HR last synch'ed at 9:45 this morning.  It is now 7:40 pm and I am unable to get the app on my phone or my PC to recognize my device.  Device is charged, and works independantly.  Just wont synch

Thank you for the information you've shared with us. Please confirm that you've followed the instructions suggested here:  Why won't my Fitbit device sync? 

 

What model of phone are you using to sync? Make sure to turn off the "Bluetooth" option on your PC to avoid connectivity issues while syncing with your phone.

Hi @Catman56, thank you for confirming the model of iPhone that you're using. 

 

Please note that syncing difficulty is usually caused by a missing requirement:

 

  • Your iPhone or iPad has a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection.
  • The latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your iPhone or iPad. 
  • The software on your iPhone is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Your iPhone or iPad isn't managing other Bluetooth connections. If you have multiple Bluetooth products like speakers or headsets paired to your phone along with your Fitbit device, you may have trouble using more than one at the same time. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
  • If you use more than one device to sync, make sure the other device isn't nearby. If the device is nearby, turn off Bluetooth on it.
  • The firmware on your Fitbit device is up to date as described in How do I update my Fitbit device?

I had performed all of the suggestions made, including doing many other things-uninstalling and re installing app, restarting phone, resetting Fitbit. Nothing worked. Called support, jumped through many hoops all over again. Finally, they replaced it

I just got a brand new Inspire HR through the mail 4 days ago.  Got it all set up, updated, and it was working until 2:45 this afternoon.  Now it won't synch, and is completely non responsive.  I have gone through all of the restart and reset and delete and reinstall steps, and it is completely unrecognizable by my phone and computer.  Just like the last one.  It is fully charged, has a time-the wrong one, and displays all of the normal things.  But it wont synch ot talk to any of my equipment. Very frustrating, and very disappointing   ARGGGGGGGGh.

Try to put the tracker 5 cm far away from your smartphone and try to sync.

I had this problem eith my old inspire HR and got a replacement. Replacement has this problem again after ~ 3 months.

I Can only sync when putting it approx 3 -5 cm far away from smartphone and waiting approx 2 minutes leaving it in this position!

Call fitbit support and try to get a replacement!

Inspire HR is a very poor working device!!
