Hello,

 

Just bought the device yesterday and I was wondering if there is a solution for the steps overcount.

Hi @Barbershoppop, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Inspire since it's over counting steps.

 

Please restart your Inspire as described in this help article. After this, check out this page, which explains how your Fitbit device may track extra steps.
