Anyone else having this problem? I have been having problems with my Inspire not tracking or tracking my sleep incorrectly. This has been going on for MONTHS. I have called numerous times and done everything I've been told to do and it does not help. AND they won't replace it while it is still under warranty. My husband also has one and his works fine. I'm loosing confidence in fitbit.

This would explain the problem. The Inspire does not track heart rate so therefore cannot track sleep. The Inspire does track heart rate and does track sleep. Here is a good article that explains the features of both.

The article you linked to actually states that both versions track sleep.

Try contacting Customer Support here. If you choose the live chat, they might be able to understand the issue a bit more.

Fitbit Inspire will track only sleep patterns and if you have a Fitbit Inspire HR you'll receive sleep stages which will be tracked using heart rate. If you're only receiving sleep patterns and have a Fitbit Inspire HR please follow the troubleshooting posted in this article and let me know the results.
