Fitbit Inspire not tracking steps accurately

I have done everything suggested and it wont do steps accurately.  I have had no help from Fitbit. I dont know what to do . It quit after the update. It doesn't show my days of workout either.  I walk 4 miles it says 2. I am frustrated and no response from Fitbit

Thank you for sharing that you've been having trouble with your Inspire HR that is not tracking steps accurately. 

Before considering other options, could you please provide a few extra details about what you've been experiencing with the accuracy of your steps? Is this happening during a specific activity, like driving, or if you're seeing this during the day with regular use of the watch? 

In the meantime, here you can find more useful information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices, and make sure to try to complete a restart procedure

I walk a 4.1 mile trail and it says I walk 2 miles. I have done all the
recommended steps to remedy this and it has not helped. Also it doesn't
track my exercise days, the running man, and has not since the fitbit
update. ..
