Fitbit Inspire stopped tracking steps

I noticed this morning that my Fitbit had not tracked my steps yesterday. When I checked, it had not tracked the day before either, although it did say it had sync'd. I plugged it in, held the button down, got the smile but no vibration, and it still isn't tracking. Any suggestions?

Hi @DogWalker20, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Inspire since it's not tracking your steps. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

Please try clearing the unit's data. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Settings app > Clear User Data.
  2. When prompted, press the screen for 3 seconds and release. When your tracker vibrates and the clock screen appears, your data is erased.
  3. Finally, set up your Fitbit device from scratch and see if it tracks your steps properly afterwards

Keep me posted on the outcome.
