can't  find sensitivity in advanced settings to increase my sleep mode. Update confirmed. So what gives

Let me help you with your missing sleep settings. If you are using an Android device (it seems to be the case since you don't see the settings) then you will find this settings on the Fitbit web dashboard at Fitbit.com. You can read more about this here.
