Hi everyone.

I have just bought an inspire 2. After synching with my phone I was redirected to the Google store to download the app but was given a message that my device is incompatible.

Do I have to have the app to use my phone?

I had a fit bit previously and my details are on the website. Can I not just use the website instead?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Tim

Hello @Timbrogan and welcome to the Community.  I looked at your profile and saw that you joined Fitbit one month before I did.  Older Fitbits used Fitbit Connect to sync with computers.  The current devices aren't compatible with Fitbit Connect at all and you need a compatible phone or tablet .  Your phone needs to support Android 10 to get the Fitbit app from the Google Play Store.  Can you upgrade your phone's OS?

Hi there.
Thank you very much for your comment.
I have just bought a new mobile with android 10. So hopefully the app will work.
