Help! No tile for STEPS!

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Two days ago my Inspire 2 stopped tracking steps. I deleted the app and re-installed it. Amazingly, STEPS is not even an option in Tiles now -- crazy! What do we need more than Steps? What can I do to fix this, please?

Edit button near top. For circles at top, sometimes just tap edit button on and off brings them back.

Thanks, Johnny, but I know about the edit button. My peculiar situation is that "EDIT" no longer includes STEPS nor SLEEP as options to choose. The problem is on the app only, as I still get a readout of steps on my wrist. But I've eliminated and re-installed the app 3x in 2 days and none of them includes the Steps nor Sleep tiles any longer. I can't figure out why.

PS to Johnny Rowe: EDIT *does* still include Glucose, Mindfulness, Weight -- everything but Steps and Sleep. It happens to coincide with the end of my Premium subscription.

Let's step back and clarify. 1st post you said Inspire 2 stopped tracking steps.  So is it really that Inspire 2 is not tracking steps, or is it that steps are not being displayed on phone app?

And Sleep was just tossed in on 2nd post.

Correct. Sorry for not being clear. The problem is with my app only. All the usual options are available as tiles on the app but Steps and Sleep are not. They simply don’t appear as tiles. As a default, the app is counting calories, instead. Steps are still being counted on the Inspire 2 on my wrist. But competitions with friends, with myself — all the things that the app makes possible by keeping those records — are no longer possible.

And you have tapped 'Edit' and scrolled down to 'Additional Stats' and don't see the 'Sleep' tile. Right?

That's correct. Add'l tiles include everything but Steps and Sleep.

Well, there never has been a tile for steps.  That just a circle at the top, not a tile.

My circle is now Cals. I only hoped to find the missing Steps as a tile option. It’s too bad. I’ve loved my Fitbits but if the App can’t record Steps it’s not useful any longer. (Again, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app several times.) The only clue is that the change happened when my Premium membership expired. Thanks for trying to help but it looks like I’ll have to leave Fitbit for something else.
