Hourly Activity reminder not vibrating or displaying on Inspire 2

Since I did the last firmware update a couple of weeks ago, the hourly activity notifications have not been working on my Aspire 2. I get other notifications for things like active minutes and timers. Come to think of it, I haven't noticed any heart rate zone notifications lately, either. I haven't changed any settings on either the device or through my app.

About 20 minutes after I posted this, I felt a vibration on my wrist to remind me to move. So, maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

Nevermind.

Hi, Kathy -

I was trying to view what the answer to your problem was but it doesn't want to come up.  Would you please share what you did to get your hourly activity notification to work? Mine hasn't worked since I did a reset and I can't seem to figure out what I need to do. I've missed several hourly goals because I get busy and don't necessarily pay attention. The reminder is a lifesaver. Thanks!

Yes, mine doesn't work either.  Thanks!

It started working for a little while on its own, but now that I'm thinking
about it, I haven't noticed it again for a while. I don't always wear my
Fitbit very tight to my wrist, so I've been assuming that I just didn't
notice the reminders. But it may have just stopped working again.

Sorry I don't have a solution.

Hi, Kathy - Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. In the meantime I double checked all my settings again. I noticed that it was set on DND so when I changed that setting it is now working. I’m keeping an eye on it.

Hey @SBSnickers I was searching for how to get my hourly activity working, and I saw your post and thought 'nope, not me' but I double checked and I had DND set to "On"  let's see if "Hourly Activity" alert works now.

Nope, I think I turned DND off, but I never received any hourly step reminder buzzed.

My Inspire 2 buzzes at other times, I just can't get it to do an hourly activity reminder.

To get my Inspire 2 "Hourly Activity" reminder to buzz I performed the nuclear option.

I opened the app on my phone, cleared data and cache, I deleted the app from my phone.

I opened my Inspire 2 and deleted all the data and did a factory reset.

I re-paired it with my phone, had the app re-downloaded, I went through the setup procedure.

It appears the DND is on by default, so on the Inspire 2 i turned off DND.

I'm going to walk 250+ steps this hours and confirm it shows up in the app.   Then I am going to sit tight and wait the next hour to see if I get a buzz and a reminder to take steps. Wish me luck.

Update:

After owning this for about a month I finally felt my first "Hourly Activity" buzz.

The trick to get it to work?   I HAVE NO IDEA.

I cleared the app data and cache, then deleted the app.  I deleted the data on my Inspire 2, and did a complete factory wipe.

I restarted and reloaded everything with all the options.   I turned OFF the DND setting.   Then two hours later I felt my Inspire 2 buzz.  It is the move message, I walked and a few minutes later it buzzed and congratulated me on getting my steps.

All along, the "Hourly Activity" 250 steps info was showing up on my app, if I happened to have walked 250 steps, I just could never get it to buzz and prompt me each hour.   Now that's working.

I wish I could have figured out exactly which setting I had that was making it not buzz.  IDK?

But it is working now.
