I have been using an Inspire 2 for about a month. It does not seem very accurate to me. Last week it shows 36 miles, but I have walked or hiked less than 25 miles. The number of steps seems too high also. Is there a way to calibrate this?

@Phicro If you feel like your step count is too high in addition to your mileage, you can check a few settings. First, make sure it is set to “on wrist” vs “on clip”. Next, check the wrist settings. Select “Dominant” to make it a bit less sensitive to small movements.
To get to wrist setting, from the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Inspire 2 tile > Wrist > Dominant.

I found it was adding thousands of extra steps per day regardless of what I set it on, until I put it on an ankle band - which isn't an option in settings and they don't sell an official ankle band for it. The heart rate monitor is also garbage, as is sleep detection. No way to calibrate anything or in most cases even remove incorrect data it's logged. Good luck with support - they'll refuse to admit there's anything wrong with any of their products, accuse you of lying, and then never contact you back. The support agents can't actually do anything.
If you bought yours in a store, return it. If you ordered it from fitbit like I did, though, you're stuck out of luck because they won't even discuss the possibility of a refund and no one will get back to me after many unfuriating "conversations" with an agent using a response tree.
