I was given an Inspire HR and for sometime I've had a feeling the heart rate readings were wrong. I'd bike one day and my top reading might hit 120 another day I'm hitting 215! Same route. Other times I'd see readings of 120+ but I wasn't doing anything at the time. So I borrowed my wife's HR and wore both units while biking. Readings were very different. My wife's seemed more in line with what they should be, mine were all over and higher than hers. Why? PS: Great fad. Better than Pet Rocks.

Hello, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums @nujtb.
Thank you for sharing that you've been having trouble with the accuracy of heart rate data.
Before considering other options, I would recommend performing a restart.
In addition, I also recommend that you follow all the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.
Keep me posted.
