My Fitbit is completely unresponsive

Too days ago my Fitbit stoped scrolling. At the time I didn’t think of it as much.but yesterday it got worse after i took the watch off the charger the watch still wouldn’t scroll. After this I soft rest the watch but this only made it worse. After a while the watch wouldn’t respond to touches and the smiley face was stuck on the screen and my phone couldn’t connect to the watch for a short while. Then I put the watch back on the charger for 10 minutes to see if that would help. This completely broke the watch and was completely unresponsive no vibrations and nothing on the screen however my phone would still connect to it even though the watch wouldn’t count steps. The watch hasn’t been fully submerged in water in well over a 3 months now but i have wore the watch in the shower.
