I just got my fitbit as a birthday present last month. It literally doesn't work at all (according to the pedometer, I have walked 6 miles today when I haven't left my apartment and according to the HR monitor, my HR was higher in the shower after my workout yesterday than it was DURING THE WORKOUT).

According to support, my warranty expired two months before I got it???? There's no way my sister bought my birthday gift over a year before my birthday, before she even had her own fitbit? And she says she didn't buy it used.

Hi @OperaStarrr  where did your sister buy the Fitbit? Could be it was purchased and returned, then rewrapped. It's happened before where a retailer has the ability to make a returned product look new.

@Odyssey13 I'll have to ask her to be sure, but I assume Best Buy as that's where she got hers. That would definitely make sense...annoying that there's nothing I could do about that, but at least it's an explanation.
