My Inspire 2 Fitbit worked perfectly a year ago and something happened late April and the Sleep and Step range doesn’t log everything properly any longer. The Sleep works in tandem with Health and Readiness so those are no longer accurate either. I’ve reset my Fitbit but nothing corrects this issue. Around the same time this problem occurred, the Waterlock issue came about. I don’t know if they’re linked as in the same Update, but it hasn’t worked properly since late April 2022! I’ve cancelled my Subscription renewal since it’s no longer functioning in a way that’s useful, but if it gets corrected then I’ll renew. Also, Steps are not always recorded. Thanks

Before considering other options, please keep in mind that there are some factors that may prevent your tracker from recording your sleep. Please make sure of the following:
In addition, please wear your device on your non-dominant hand and monitor it for the next few days. In the meantime, for the nights that don't have sleep data, you can manually log your sleep by going to the Fitbit app, tapping on the "+" icon next to the sleep tile > Add Sleep Log and entering your details.
Regarding steps, keep in mind the algorithm is designed to look for intensity and motion patterns that are most indicative of people walking and running. When working at a desk, cooking, or performing other activities with arm movements, a device on your wrist may add some steps. When you’re doing activities that involve arm movement, such as working or cooking, you often walk a few steps in-between stationary periods as well, so the device tries to give you credit for those steps. For most customers, the number of extra steps added by arm-based movement isn’t significant when compared to your overall stats.
If you still consider the steps and the sleep are not accurate, please make sure that you've tried the restart procedure as described in this article, then check if you continue to experience the same behavior. In the meantime, you can find more useful information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices and how to adjust your stride length and dominant hand settings here.
