Inspire 2 - Sleep tracker not logging sleep

I've had my inspire 2 only for 6 days. I turned on sleep mode the 2nd day when I found the setting & I've been wearing my fitbit 24/7 since I got it, but the app never logged my sleep. The next night I had to use the "begin sleep" option in the app & that seemed to work for 3 nights. Last night though it's showing a sleep record but doesn't count that I was wearing my fitbit.

Shouldn't the sleep mode be able to turn on & track my sleep without me having to try to remember to go into the app when I head to bed? And not sure why last nights record doesn't count(trying to do the 14 records to get a better idea of my sleep) but out of the 6 days of wearing it, it only has 3 days counted.

@Danni55 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and efforts.

To record your sleep stages you'll need to let the Inspire 2 autorecognize your sleep.

If you use the "begin sleep" option in the app, you'll get the simplified record. This option is for those Fitbit models that don't feature sleep stages.

The following conditions can prevent the recording of sleep stages:

- You record your sleep using the app instead of the tracker's automatic sleep detection. ("begin sleep" option in the app)
- The tracker's battery is almost empty when you go to bed (below 25%). This prevents a regular recording of the heart rate.
- You use the metal bracelet while sleeping
- You sleep less than 3 hours.
- The bracelet is too loose or too tight on the wrist. You should be able to put your index finger between the bracelet and your arm without much resistance, so that your heart rate is recorded regularly and the sleep phases can be recognized.
