Inspire 2 black screen

I have an Inspire 2 that has a black screen, the green lights are not on & I am not receiving sleep & heart rate data. I have tried force restarting it several times but I am not seeing a smiley face because I can’t see anything at all! I have read that it could be that ‘on wrist’ is not switched on but obviously can’t access (see) the menu to change it. I have tried removing the tracker, disconnecting Bluetooth & switching my phone off (as mentioned in another post) but when trying to set it back up, it asks for the 4 digit code displayed on my Fitbit, which I can’t see because the screen is black!! Can anyone help please??

I just got an inspire 2 on 4/2 and now my screen is black too. Still vibrates, I do get the smiley when I restart but I still have a black screen after that

Hi. Well whatever you do, DO NOT un-pair it from your phone/device as some
of the Fitbit advice gives! To pair it again it sends you a code - on your
Fitbit - which you can’t read because of the black screen!! So mine is now
useless 😣

I was able to re-pair it after contacting support (on twitter/ X whatever
it's called now 🤷🏻‍:female_sign:) anyway after several restarts while on charge I
did get a display back. To re-pair all I had to do was uninstall the fitbit
app, then reinstall. It didn't happen immediately, but it did catch up
after a while. Sync your phone & inspire a couple times after reinstalling
the app. Then I got prompts at the top of the app home screen, followed
those and it's good now

Thank you 😊 You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve tried to do a restart
(whilst on charge) but nothing. I’ll keep trying but I’m not convinced, so
much so that I went out & bought a cheap tracker that seems to do a similar
job. I don’t think I’ll be getting a Fitbit ever again as I can’t believe
that if there’s a problem with it that you need to use the watch (& not the
app) & if you have a black screen then you’ve had it. But I do appreciate
you responding to my plea for help. Thank you.

I literally just got my first ever fitbit a few days ago. After about 5 minutes of YouTube, google & fitbit customer support, I figured it out & fixed it myself. It's pretty simple really. It's been working just fine since

That’s good. I’ve had a Fitbit for about 5 years (this is my second that
I’ve had about 2 years). I was always very happy with it until now so,
unless someone has some magic solution, mine will be going in the bin. I’ve
seen official responses saying that if you have a black screen then there’s
nothing you can do about it. 😣
