Inspire 2 display changing without swiping or touching the watch

Purchased Inspire 2 less than 2 months ago on Amazon and it is malfunctioning badly.

The display keeps changing all the time, selecting and deselecting apps or starting them without me touching the screen or the buttons on the side of the device.

It has become a useless device .. even just as a watch.

Is this a known issue is there a fix?

I am having this same problem. Have tried to do the manual reset - I get two smiley faces but no vibration and then it continues glitching. Cleaned contacts, let die and recharged, same problem occurred as soon as it started charging

Hi @AGChow , could your sleeve be brushing against the clock face and triggering these activities?

You can always turn on the “water lock” if this is happening, for instance when you are wearing a bulky coat, etc.  The water lock doesn’t actually change any water resistant qualities, but it does turn off the touch screen (so designed so water hitting the screen does not affect settings).

I appreciate that this is a bit of a “work around” but I expect it would solve your issue.

Hi Julia

Thanks for the suggestion. But no the strange behaviour happens when I am wearing a t-shirt, without anything touching the screen at all. If I try and start an app the screen response is just all over the place, totally random.

Hi @Vchardin19

Yes, exactly the same issues with mine. I'm hearing this is actually quite common. I was actually better off with my old  fitbit ionic. I think this is a really shonky product. Not sure I am willing to get another fitbit.
