Hi there, @Pickle1006. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 2 is not syncing with your Fitbit app. I understand where your concern is coming from as your Fitbit devices is pretty new. I'm here to help you!

As a first approach, I suggest following the troubleshooting steps provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue persists, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Inspire 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Please be aware that most Fitbit devices store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. Nevertheless, if your Fitbit device was unpaired from your Fitbit account during this period of time, neither the 7 days can be recovered or restored.

I Have to say, I have had so many issues with Syncing my Inspire 2 and have just managed to sync mine after three days of trying to find over a months worth of data has been wiped.

This is my second fitbit inspire and i am just having the same issues i had with the first which is exasperating.

Seriously thinking of switching to another brand, because nothing seems to work when I want / need it to!!!

I've owned my Inspire 2 since 2021 and never had a problem syncing. Now that Google owns Fitbit, well that's when my problems started. I'm probably going to throw out my Inspire and go with anything that isn't related to Google Fitbit. These problems never existed before at all. I used to love my Inspire and now it is garbage. At least I had 2 years with it. The battery still holds a 5 day charge at least, so it's not the device. The new app is horrible. My problems literally started with Google taking over the app. I would never buy a Google watch, even though I love my Pixel phones.

Hi,

I am having the same problems as you. It all started when they switched to google. I wish I had not switched to goggle. I am going to get rid of my inspire 2 also…what a shame because it was working and syncing great before goddgle stepped
