Inspire 2 just died

Today is the resting day for this Fitbit. Tried everything there is and the rep said we’ll give you 35% discount to buy a new one. No. I don’t want a new one. I want this fixed but apparently they have no repair centers and all they offer is discount for the new one.
So, after almost 2 years (the wear and tear- charging, battery drains faster, time not up to date, etc etc-finally Rest In Peace). The other rep said it’s the environment etc issues … seriously? Of course, you get sweaty, etc and this can’t stand it? I said so it’s disposable thingy…that’s only good for “advertising- false advertising it is”.  They should advertise it as “ expensive disposable thingy and we have no repair centers” …

Hi @Mrslorna  the warranty information is here - click to read. There are no repair centers for many things nowdays. Some devices do last longer than others, but we all take care of our Fitbits differently. Some people wear them in the shower and expose them to soaps, shampoo and conditioners. Some clean them daily and some never clean them. We all treat our devices in our own way and we do wear them all the time, removing them to charge or clean. It's a lot of wear and tear over time on the straps, too. I've had my printer die after a year with no discount on another one. That discount is pretty decent.
