Welcome to the forums @Lesa1963.
Thank you for providing the details regarding this difficulty experienced with your Inspire 2 and for trying to fix it on your own.
Please, try to change the clock face following the steps listed in this help article: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
Try to sync through the Fitbit app by tapping the upper left corner icon > Device > Sync Now. If Sync Now doesn't work, please tap the upper left corner icon, > Device > Try to see if the firmware banner appears.
In addition confirm that you have tried the restart as indicated here: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

This is not the issue. My fitbit started to charge then stopped, it will not switch on. I have had no problems previously

Did they drop Inspire 2 from working to make us buy new device? I cannot access my stats that I have done daily for over 2 years. I need to watch my heart rate.
