Inspire HR Connected GPS

My Inspire HR used connected GPS regularly and has been fairly stable since I got it 4 months ago, it would take a minute or so to connect but once connected stayed connected.  It worked perfectly for a ride on Monday.  This morning I swiped to the exercise and it doesn't even try to connect - it just says 'Lets Go'  I have done all the steps suggested, including uninstalling the app, ensuring Notification permissions and location permissions are on etc. but the GPS connecting message still doesn't appear.  My phone is an Honor 9 LIte.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not getting your GPS data and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Let's try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

I've tried all these things, again, but connected GPS still not working.

Thanks for the response. I've tried this (again) but no success. 

I noted others said turning on notifications worked for them, this also hasn't helped with the connected GPS.
