Battery was holding charge for days. After a recent update it now drains daily. I also noticed since the update it vibrates and congratulates me every time I take 10 steps. I am sure that’s what is draining the battery. How do I stop that? And how do I increase battery life?

@Lynnr1231 It's great to see you in the Community!

Let me help you with your Inspire's battery draining quickly. What are you seeing when you say it congratulates you for every 10 steps walked? Could you share a picture of this? I suggest you start by restarting your tracker. After this try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.

I look forward to your reply.

Thank you for your guidance. After talking to a friend we looked and discovered that under activities and goals my step count somehow was changed to 10 instead of 10,000. So each time I walked 10 steps my Fitbit would vibrate and congratulate me. I have changed it back to 10,000 and cleaned the contacts and it seems to be working fine.
