Inspire HR & Fitbit App Not showing same information

I’ve had the Inspire HR since mid-March and was never able to resolve the heart rate issue I was experiencing while exercising (either not reading correctly or at all) but to somewhat bypass that, while on the elliptical I keep my Fitbit wearing hand stationary and it will get a better reading. Super uncomfortable and while my hand isn’t moving my steps aren’t being picked up, but eh... new issue is my HR will get up into the 170’s and 180’s while exercising but when i go to the Fitbit app later to review my workout, it says my peak HR was 150’s, maybe low 160’s. So that sucks.

Nice to see your here @SheltieReltie. Thanks for reaching out the Forums again.

Let me give you a hand with the issues that you're having with your Inspire HR. About the HR inconsistency, please check this article that gives some tips to help the accuracy of your Fitbit: How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?

In the case of using elliptical machine you could try to avoid holding the bars to have a better accuracy regarding steps. You can read more about it here: How accurate are Fitbit devices? I'm not sure what you meant with this phrase: " I keep my Fitbit wearing hand stationary and it will get a better reading...Super uncomfortable..." Would you mind giving more details about this?

If after trying those steps you Fitbit still is having issues showing the same number on the Fitbit app, please restart your Inspire HR and check if your Fitbit.com Dashboard is giving you the same information regarding HR.

I'll be around waiting for your reply.

I’m having the same issue. Fitbit says one thing, but the app says something else.
