Inspire HR has a blank screen. I've tried a reset but the screen is still blank. Any ideas welcome please

I have the same problem. My Inspire HR's screen is not working. Initially I got it 2 years ago, but last year the device got replaced due to plastic braking off (not being able to stay on the strap).
FitBit kindly replaced the dongle in March last year. However, now that new one has a blank screen. It still counts steps, silent alarms and notification vibrations are still on, but as I was using it as a watch as well this is very annoying.
I have tried everything I could find on the community to reset. Tried the whole hold of 30 seconds, on and off charger. Tried to change the clock face and sync, no luck. I have also run down the battery completely empty and charged it hoping it was just a blip and it would come on after a full charge. No luck.
I love my fitbit, it does everything I need it to (if it's working). I also completely feel comfortable with the app. But, my recent experiences have disappointed me. I would like to have a device that works, and not one that I have to get the company to replace or to frantically google any and all options to fix it. Next time I might opt for a different fitness tracker. 😞
