Inspire HR firmware update and syncing issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For weeks now I have been trying to update and pair my inspire HR to my Pixel 3XL. I reset the watch, reset my phone, reset my bluetooth, forgot the inspire in my bluetooth selection, and I am still having issues.

I now can not pair my inspire back to my phone, it just will not let me connect. And I try to do the tracker software update, thinking that maybe that is why it will not pair to my phone, but EVERY time my update gets a little over halfway done (around 55%) it restarts the update again...and again...and again...and again....then it goes to a screen saying the inspire lost connection. And again, I can't connect the inspire back to my phone since it "forgot" it in the bluetooth settings. So I am stuck in a cycle of connection issues and software update issues. I am a day away from trashing it and switching to another brand as I need a working watch.

Hi @aprilfoste19110, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire HR is not syncing and it won't complete the firmware update. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

Please make sure that your phone has the latest Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, try logging out of the app, restart your phone again, open the app and log in.

After this, try the steps that are listed in this help article. Then, run the firmware update again and see if it gets completed.

Finally, try syncing your device and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
