Hi all
my Inspire HR doesn’t seem to be tracking sleep correctly for example, some nights I get full stats with sleep score, rem stages etc. Other just restless/awake data and different looking graph. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Hi @Sonya87 I would say it is pretty normal. You will not get sleep stages every night as sometimes in your sleep you move to a position where the tracker cant get a good heart rate reading for a time and the app then cant generate the stages so you get the simpler sleep patterns. In some people the stages are easy to get as their heart rate is picked up easily. Everyone is built a bit differently and some people get stages less often, just because of the placement of your arteries. To optimise your trackers ability to record your heart rate well at night, try moving the tracker, tighteningnthe band or wearing it looser. Some people even find it records tjeir heart rate better on the inside of the wrist at night.
Have a look at THIS Help Article on troubleshooting Heat rate and THIS one on tracking your heart rate.

I am not an expert on Hearg Rate by any means, but my understanding is thatas the graph you see is made from samples of hyour heart rate take (I think) at 5 minute intervals, then there can be small problems with the reading that you dont see when looking at the graph. So to answer your question, yes, I think what you are saying is correct. It might look good but there could still be problems that you dont see on the graph.

Sonya, I’m experiencing the same thing with my Fitbit HR, which is why I haven’t used it lately to track my sleep, even though that is one of the main reasons I use it at night. And it hasn’t gotten better.

That looks like my result graph, it tracks my heart rate just fine, but not my sleep.

I’m having a similar problem too, for the last couple App updates. It’ll show me the asleep and restlessness breaks, but it doesn’t count the times awake or times restless.....And for only a couple nights since I started using a Fitbit 2 1/2 years ago, the graph was a completely different layout a in May and has never been displayed the same since.....If there’s a way to post screenshots, I’ll share to explain easier

Hello there @Sonya87, @Emily870719, and @Jdh182k.
With the launch of Sleep Score, some users have reported that they no longer see their weekly sleep average or sleep duration.
If you're experiencing this, swipe left on the Sleep Score graph and expand the view by clicking the expand icon on the upper right hand corner on the Hours in Sleep Stages screen, you can see information about your weekly sleep average and sleep duration.
As @NellyG mentioned, your overall nightly sleep score is based on your heart rate, the time you spend awake or restless, and your sleep stages.
Note that you must see sleep stages to see sleep score. For more information, see What should I know about sleep stages?
For more insights into your sleep score, purchase a Fitbit Premium subscription. For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit Premium?
To get more detailed information, see: What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?
Let me know if there's anything else I may do to assist you with.

How do I get the sleep score back it worked for a week and now the sleep is tracking different

I’m not getting a breakdown any more like I used to.
Left is two nights ago and how’s it’s been since Julyish.
The middle is how it always broke down since I’ve had a Fitbit (over two years now) until July or so.
The right is a breakdown that only read like this for a couple nights back in May and has never done it before or since:
What’s wrong with this and how can it be changed?

Mine isn’t tracking sleep properly either. Everything else is working properly. I’ve worn it to bed in two different tightnesses with no difference in results. I don’t see an update to correct this. Is one in the works? It was working great until two days ago.

I tried wearing it tighter and it still doesn’t track correctly. It’s still missing the times restless and minutes restless🤷🏼:male_sign:😡

it happened to me too last night. The last time this happened, I deleted the sleep log, then reenter a new log and the graph that we all like, appeared. Today nothing happened. Also, now my steps do NOT appear on my Fitbit App. Ugh

I went thru and deleted existing sleep tracks and manually input - got the missing data finally 😊
Now if it’d do it without the extra steps.....
