Inspire HR not logging sleep when battery under 50%

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have noticed that my sleep isn't logged when my battery goes under 50%. I have noticed sleep not being logged 4 times now and every time the battery has been around 48-49% when going to bed.

Are anyone else having this issue and is there something I can do?

It also doesn't show heart rate graph until I manually enter (not very correct) sleep time.

I have cleared cache in the app and done force stop. Also rebooted the tracker several times. I have deleted and uploaded the app and unpaired tracker and app and then pairing them again.

My phone is a Sony Xperia XZ1 and I am on Android 9.

@M-Asp It's great to see you on the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.

I appreciate that you mentioned the phone you're using. I would like you to change your sleep sensitivity to sensitive, check this article to find the steps on how to change it from the app or from the Dashboard.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Thank you @SilviaFitbit

Just read that the sensitivity doesn't matter on the Inspire HR in the help forum, but I have had it set to sensitive for quite some time because my previous fitbit was very inaccurate. It was the Flex 2.

I have tried all the steps suggested in another thread about logging sleep and water. Force stopped the app, removed bluetooth access for fitbit, removed the tracker, added the tracker again after resetting it 3 times.

Will have to see how it works over the next couple of nights. Now had two nights in a row where the sleep didn't really track. Only got the basic tracking and according to that I only slept 3 hrs 51 minutes and woke up at 6AM. I went to bed around midnight and woke up at 8:19AM.

@M-Asp Thanks for getting back. Sorry for the delayed reply.

I appreciate the troubleshooting performed and the extra details shared. If you're getting your normal sleep but not getting sleep stages, please try the troubleshooting mentioned in this article: Why don't I see sleep stages today?

Keep me posted!

Hi @SilviaFitbit

It has taken a bit of time for me to get back to you.

After doing all the steps of removing bluetooth access, removing the tracker and adding it again after 3 resets I am now getting decent sleep data. It does get a bit iffy when the battery is below 20%, so I put it on charge when the tracker is nearing that level.

Keeping everything crossed that it has solved the problem permanently, as I really do like the Inspire HR.
Getting much more info from it than what I was getting with the Flex 2. It also seems to be more accurate with steps and exercise than the Flex 2 was.

Thank you for your assistance.
