Inspire HR not tracking bike miles correctly/Map My Ride

Hello,

 

Two issues:

 

1. When I try to use my tracker to record my bike ride, all seems to be correct besides the actual distance.  The map shows the correct path I took, but does not record the proper miles traveled.  Yes, my GPS is on.  Yes, my location is on.  Yes, I have restarted/reset my tracker. 

 

2. I also use the Map My Ride app that shows it is connected to Fitbit, however it will not show up in Fitbit.

Let me help you with your GPS data. Since your tracker uses your phone's GPS chip to track this data I suggest you refresh the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

What is it that you are missing from the MapMyRide application. You can follow these instructions to link both apps or check their official instructions page.
