Inspire HR not tracking heart rate

Does not track heart rates shows nothing about heart. One main reason I purchased Fitbit,  looking at probably returning it have had it less then a week. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the community!

It sounds like you simply selected the wrong Fitbit model to suit your needs.

From the existing line (listing the differences):

• Inspire - does not have HR monitoring, allows for wearing as a clip-on (if you're a hospital or factory worker where they don't allow anything on wrists).
• Inspire HR - includes HR monitoring, does not allow wearing as a clip-on.

Fitbit also recently introduced a new model, the Inspire 2, this one allows both HR monitoring as well as wearing as a clip-on.  You can pre-order this now and it ships in 10 days.  I'd be temped to simply pre-order the Inspire 2.

So in essence, you can get what you want on a Fitbit (with the same form factor), you just picked a model that didn't have that feature.

I have the inspire 2 and it is NOT tracking heart rate OR any sleep !!

I am having the same issue. Noticed it was not tracking exercise and would only show if I put it in manually. When I finally opened the app, I noticed it has not registered any heart rate at all since March 15, 2021 at about 12:30 pm. Have restarted the device multiple times and have double checked that it has the most recent firmware but the update did not change anything. I have reinstalled the app hoping that may do something, but since it is the device and not the app, it did not.
