Hi All,
We bought a Fitbit Inspire HR but we can't seem to connect it with a "Samsung Galaxy J1". We were able to install the "Fitbit"-app on the phone, but when we try to add the device, the screen closes and we get back on the "Default" fitbit screen in the app.
When I check the bluetooth, I see that the phone is found there.
When I check the list of compatible phones I see that the Samsung Galaxy J1 is listed. https://www.fitbit.com/content/assets/onezip/images/devices/Fitbit_SupportedDevices_Android.pdf
Kind Regards,
Erik

Hi @ErikBrulmans welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for all the steps that you've tried with your Inspire HR. You might be having syncing issues due to your phone's compatibility. Thanks for sharing that link, but this model of phone is not listed there. I was able to see the Samsung Galaxy J but not the J1.
We're currently receiving feedback about different devices that are not in the list of tested devices. And our team is working hard to add as many devices as they can but in this case, we can't assure the Fitbit App will be working flawless with this model.
Our best recommendation is trying to sync or set up via computer, laptop, or any other compatible device. You can also try these steps with your phone and give it a try again.
Let me know if you have more questions about it.
